Korea is set to introduce two new projects at the Asia-Pacific Meetings and Incentives Expo (AIME) this coming February 20-21. Those who visit the Korea Pavilion can expect to learn about Korea MICE Ambassadors and the Korea UNIQUE Venues first hand.
Korea did a soft launch of its Korea MICE Ambassadors early this year. Twelve outstanding individuals from various fields, such as healthcare and engineering, were selected to serve as front-runners in securing international business events to Korea and leverage their achievements and networks to raise the status of Korea as a meetings destination.
In addition, Korea also rolled out its new MICE brand “Korea Unique Venues” introducing twenty world-class meeting venues. These venues are a result of close collaborations with local convention bureaus and suppliers, where the Korea MICE Bureau evaluated recommended sites and filtered them according to their characteristics, usability, and willingness to open the place for business events.
